South Dunedin Chiropractic Clinic

Based in the heart of South Dunedin, the Spine Room is the sunny pink and yellow local chiropractic clinic. We’ve worked hard to create a space that is comfortable for the whole family.

Chiropractors are primary health care providers (meaning no referral is required for access to services, and ACC claims can be made by the chiropractor on behalf of the client). We focus on the treatment and prevention of musculoskeletal and neurologic complaints, with a strong emphasis on restoring mobility, building strength, and therefore improving the function of your spine.

At the centre of our mahi is our goal to provide excellent care, without the barriers

We provide effective, evidence-based chiropractic care to the local community, and want it to be accessible to all.

It is a place where people walk through the door and feel like they belong, are listened to, and are provided space and time in their appointments.

The Spine Room is not just a business, it’s a social enterprise. We give back 1% of our intake to local not-for-profits or charities each month.

Why pay-as-you-can?

We believe great health and wellbeing should be for everyone and everybody. Not all care can be covered by ACC, that’s why we offer a pay-as-you-can system.

This makes our services more accessible and inclusive for single parents, retired folk, larger families, and Dunedin’s student population.

Meet Dr Renee Fleming-White (B.Chiro, MNZCA, 200RYT)

Kia ora!

My introduction to chiropractic care was as a child in Mawhera/Greymouth. My Chiropractor did such a great job helping me with my scoliosis, that I chose to join the profession. I studied at the University of Otago and the New Zealand College of Chiropractic, graduating after five years of study in 2017. Since then, I’ve completed further training in cranial adjusting (SOT), pregnancy care, pediatric care (infants right through to teens), orofacial complaints, a yoga teacher training, and am currently learning te reo Māori with Te Wānanga o Aotearoa.

I previously worked in Auckland and Melbourne, seeing clients from just days old to 89 wise years of age. I’m now thrilled to be practicing in Ōtepoti / Dunedin. For me, it’s really special when people develop an appreciation for what their body can do, start thinking more about prevention, and honestly just start to enjoy their life a bit more.

I have a strong focus on listening, meeting people where they’re at, and keeping medical jargon to a minimum. If you DO want the medical jargon though, please just ask =)
