Our 1% Local Impact Initiative for Local Folk Doing Cool Stuff
How The Spine Room Supports the Ōtepoti Dunedin Community
We think Ōtepoti Dunedin is an awesome place, filled with incredible people. In fact, we’ve decided to give back 1% of our intake to a local not-for-profit or charity each month. It’s our way of saying thank you.
We’re passionate about encouraging a more inclusive, resilient place to live while working towards a more sustainable future.
What type of not-for-profit or charity do you support?
We’re excited about being able to support organisations that are working towards a better world- they might be supporting the empowerment of women, the LGBTQI+ community, new migrant families, mental health awareness, beach clean-ups, planting days, kaupapa Māori organisations, and support for people experiencing hardship.
Earth care, people care, and fair share are the fundamental values that guide what we do.
If you think your organisation/group would be a good fit for our support, get in touch.
By supporting us, you’re also supporting your local community and environment. Here is where your impact has been felt:
